AI, are you ok?

I recently posted some relatively successful attempts at running old sketches through some AI tools to see what new life might be breathed into them.

I’d be remiss to not show a few of the more, uh, creative images that were generated along the way.

Top left is the original sketch; top right is approximately what I was after. 

The rest are from what I can only assume is a partially sentient AI bot having a fever dream.

Amazingly, these all came from the same prompt:  “White paint sprayer with a black textured hand grip, knurled dials, translucent blue paint reservoir, with a clean modern design.”

No mention of helmeted space women. 

Her vacant stare is…unsettling.
